The Mission of Solidarity of Hope

SOH is a spiritually based organization that creates the soil and freedom for people's dreams and projects to flourish as they relate to growing food locally.

What We Do

SOH helps incubate projects that support locally grown food.

In the Pikes Peak region more and more people are returning to vegetable gardening, shopping at farmers markets, joining community supported agriculture groups and becoming members of community gardens.

Many people want to become part of this movement but don't know where to start. SOH is here to assist.

How Do I Get Involved?

Presently we are concentrating most of our time and energy incubating Pikes Peak Urban Gardens. Many know us as PPUG.

In the future we are planing on launching a community based landscape business, FoodScapes, that will design and install residential edible landscapes that not only will be practical but beautiful.

PPUG

If you are interested in starting a community garden we can help. Last year we formed the Pikes Peak Urban Gardens.

We help neigborhoods, businesses, churches and local organizations to start community gardens. If you have land and water and want to get started then e-mail us at: larry@ppugardens.org.

Your Ideas

Perhaps you have an idea that fits our mission. If so we may be able to help make it a reality. Give us a call at 719-660-7923 or e-mail us.
